I-140 approved and I-485 pending

Hi guys,

I've applied for my I-140 and I-485 concurrently in Nov 2004. My I-140 approved was approved last month and I-485 is pending now for more than 200 days. If I change my employer now and join the employer, can he screw my GC in any way. I don't want that to happen. My friends are saying that if I change employer, he can cancel both my I-140 and I-485. Is that true? I thought he cannot do it since my apps are pending more than 180 days. Please advise.

Also, I'm getting payed every 50 days. I'm scared that if I switch this company, I may not be able to get that money. Can he do that and I lose that money. Please let me know how I can resolve the issues.

Don't worry, you are safe since your I-140 was approved and I-485 is pending for more than 180 days. You need however have the same/similar job.
