Hi Guys,

My I-140 Approved
Concurrent filing

ND/RD- 21 July/19th July 2003(I -140, 1485)
EAD Approval 9th sept 2003
I-140 - Rfe - 13 november 2003
I 140 rfe applied Jan 23rd 2003
I -140 approval date - Jan 27th 2003

I have got a question, today it has been 187 days after notification date(concurrent filing), can i change my employer, coz i am under confusion, that I-485 pending 180 days after notification date or I-485 pending 180 days after approval of I-140 , should i change the employeer

180 days is counted from I485 receipt date so you are good to go!! Read the attached memo that was published last August and draw your own conclusions.

Titu thanks,

got one more questions, will there be any problem if i switch employers frequently now on, and do i still need to maintain any relations with the current employer(one through which i got i-140 approved).

Once you change employer update USCIS or wait for RFE, you can change more than one employer. You should be working before I-485 approval and should update the USCIS. If you think jump from A to B then B to C then C to D then D to F it may complicate, one or two changes are not bad but jumping every 2-3 months is not advisable, find a good employer with same similar job and stick to that employer. Nothing wrong in maintaining relationship with currant employer if he is good with you maintains the relationship but it has nothing to do with your GC or immigration once you change employer. To maintain relation or not to maintain is up to you

Goodluck on AOS process!!!!!

180 day clock start from I-485 Notice date and not from I-140 approval date but only catch is I-140 should be approved to use AC21.
