My I-140 just got approved last week (EB-3) my pd is around Nov 2005. As you know filing for 485 is a long shot. I am currently in the 3rd year of my 1st H1B visa. I am looking for some direction with the following questions:-
1) I am about to get promoted to a Division Manager position from currently being a Department manager. After the promotion 50% of my job responsibility will be related to what I am doing currently. Will this promotion affect my GC process and if so how do I go about working to comply with all the legal requirements?
2) Since I 140 is approved does this mean after my 7 year quota of H1 which is 4 more years from now will I be able to extend my H1B for 3 more years?
