Just found out about my I-140 approval

Approval notice received March 4, 2002.

EB2 (Master\'s)

Overall, fast approval but slow notification. Lawyer says they only send out approval notifications every week or two so if you know you are approved (by AVM) but haven\'t got your notice yet, just be patient and you will get it soon.

Its taking 6 to 8 weeks eb3 and less for eb3. AVM is automatic voice message (1 802 527 4913). You can get the status of your case with your EAC#, but it is real tough to get this line free. Good Luck.
 
Let me spread some humor: Best time to call...VSC is

..when you get up at 2 AM for nature\'s call (as it is, when your case is pending one cannot sleep) then go to another room (careful not to dial from where your spouse is sleeping who does not care of VSC or NSC), and dial (802) 527-4913.

Voila you will get through and you punch in the nos. and hear the same message again night after night that it is taking 150-240 days for these kind of cases.
