Hi,
My I-140 self-petition in the EB1-EA category was sent to and approved by the California service center - through it all, I have lived and worked in California on H-1B.
The next step is the I-485 self-petition. If I find a similar job and move to Texas now (for example), to which service center should I send in the I-485? If I petition I-485 now at CSC, and later move to Texas with the adjudication pending, can I retain my application with CSC or should I have it transferred to TSC?
Also, how important is it to be working in a SIMILAR occupation the whole time (through I-140 & I-485 petition & approval), for an EB1-EA petitioner?
