I-140 amendment

Here is my situation:

Filed 140/485 in last Sept. Company changed name (spin-off) early this year. The company is doing the same bussiness at the same location under a slightly different name. My I-140 was approved recently while my lawyer was preparing for I-140 amendment. Do I still need to file this amendment?

Since now I have an approved I-140 and my I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days, can I use AC21 if I don't file amendment and USCIS questions about it in the future?

Sure you can use AC-21 and join some other company.
