I-140,485 COncurrent processing

Hi,

If i work for employer B and another employer A has labour approved and is willing to apply for I-140,485 concurrently, at what stage i have to join A.

Now who has to apply for my 7th year extension?

GC for future employment. you are not reqd to work unless you have H1 problems.
To gey 7th year ext. you need
1. Approved labor
2.I-140 pending
Obviously, you gotto work for GC sponsor on H1 7th ext or EAD.

When to apply for 7th yr Ext

How many months before you complet 6yrs , the 7th yr ext need to be applied?Can i join the employer who is sponsoring my GC after i-140,485 cuncurrent filing done and i get EAD?

I want to make sure everything(application processing of GC and get EAD) is fine before jumping on to the payroll of GC employer.

typically, lawyers file 3-5 months advance for H1-b ext if it's in regular processing.

You can work on EAD, however, it's safe to have h1 ext. as a backup in unfortunate cases of I-140/485 denials. thing is if there is RFE on I-140 you won't get EAD renewals.
