Hi all,

I am new to the forum. I won the lottery (DV-2010) and I am getting ready for the consular interview. I am currently in the US but planning on traveling to Caracas-Venezuela for the interview.

I know that they have been requesting affidavit of support. However, I do have a job in the US. Should I prepare and get an I-134 even when I do have a job in the US?

You don't need it but I would get one as a back up plan...kind of plan B.

It depends on your job, which kind of job do you have.

do you get paid at least as the povetry guidlines ? e.g. £14,000 per Annum (1 person)?

I work in the oil idustry and yes it I am above the povetry guidlines (4 people).

As bentlebee said I found an esponsor just in case but not sure how much money he needs to get paid or have in the bank.
