I-134 and I-864 questions.

Here, most people said that I should file I-134 for my wife. But my lawyer asked me to prepare the I-864, and one of my friend get I-485 approved by filing I-864. Is it very important to select a right form for my wife’s financial support? If I select the wrong, is it a big problem?

My situation is that my I-140 (Eb1a) was approved, and I am filing I-485 for both my wife and myself.
 
you have to file I-134

It is I-134 you need to file not he I-864, I got the query exactly on I 864, dont file I864, if you want more information on this see the old thread started by me during 1st or 2nd week of august. Even it's safe if you dont send any affidavit of support for your wife, most of them doesnt file any 134 or 864 forms along with 485, again I am not a lawyer, check with others openion also
