I sent in my application for second re-entry permit marked "expedite" last week. Its already five days now that it has been received but I have yet to get any receipt of it.

Do they accept expedited application? What should I do now?

You won't know whether they have agreed to expedite the application until you receive the approval and the actual RP (unless they've changed the process). You'll just have to hope they do. What was the reason you gave?

I told them the truth supported by solid documents. So no worries on that front.

I used education as a reason a couple of times in the past, and it always worked (without evidence).
