Hello & Greetings.
I have a coupl questions about a parent sponsoring son for the GC.
1. Son is well over 21 years but single (working in NYC on H1B Visa), born in India now a Canadian citizen. Parents have recently become US Citizens and live in NYC. If they sponsor the son for a GC, how long does it take for the process to be completed successfully (approx. time frames, of course)
2. If during the period of processing, if the son gets married, what would be the impact on the above application.
3. I have been reading some threads about filing I-130 and 485 together. Does this apply to the above type of application also?
4. Finally, any gotchas to look out for in ensurng that the application is proper and fully complete.
Thank you very much - in advnace and appreciate it.
