I-130 upgrade after citizenship

Hi, I called USCIS on Dec 11 and had my children cases upgraded to immediate relative after I had become a US Citizen. i received an email from USCIS on Dec 16 saying that they upgraded both cases and that they currently are in active processing. It has been almost a month since then. I haven't heard anything new from USCIS. Is this normal?

Please share your experience if you called USCIS to upgrade a petition for your relative.

Did your I-130 get approved ? How long did it take after you upgraded?

yes. My petitions were approved on Feb 24 2010. I had upgraded them on Dec 8 2009.

Did you just call the Service Center to upgrade the I-130 to IR and they confirmed the upgrade thru an email ? Did you not have to send in the naturalization cert ?

Also, did U gain some time from the upgrade vs timelines in getting the I-130 approved as an LPR.?
