I-130 processed by VSC or by NBC if beneficiary is abroad?
Hi everyone,
I am French citizen. My wife is USC and lives in PA.
I am trying to decide between filing for Adjustment Of Status, filing for immigrant visa through Consular Processing, or filing for K-3 and immigrant visa through Consular Processing. Please assume that these three options are available to me.
I would like to know which USCIS Service Center will process my wife's I-130 if we decide to go for the Consular Processing option. Is it MSC/NBC (because it is a marriage-based visa) or is it VSC (because my wife lives in PA)?
I am asking this question because I read on another forum that VSC processes I-130 very fast. In contrast, the backlog at NBC seems important.
Many thanks
