I-130 three years ago, no answer yet

Hello everyone,

Please if someone can help me to clear this doubt. I submitted a petition to my wife in October 31st, 2006, and only the receipt of notice was recieved. I am a greencard holder. Is that normal for a I-130 petition (Vermont)?
The petition will have 3 years in 4 days, and nothing else but the receipt of notice was receive. Thank you in advanced.

USCIS now tries to approve petitions closer to their current date.

That is normal. When you are a permanent resident who files an I-130, they often make it sit for years before approving it. For the Vermont Service Center their I-130 processing date shows January 2006 for spouses of permanent residents.

Thanks. I have seen this alert since 2 years, and January 18th, 2006 (I-130) is the only session that never changes. I thought that probably there is an error because it is not moving at all. Thank you.
