I-130 Processing Times - A Typo?

Just looked at the processing times for the California Service Center and noticed that the times for the I-130 (perm resident filing for an unmarried son/daughter over 21) have jumped up to December 2004 from 1999 the last time I checked it. Is this a typo on their part or have they really begun to clear up the backlog?

This does seems to be quite a jump, actually last month the current date they had for I130 alien spouse was April 30th 2001, so it had moved quite a bit from when you last viewed and it showed 1999. However, another jump from April 2001 to Dec 2004 in one month does seem odd. Lets hope this isn't the case though and things are changing for the better.

It wasn't typing mistake they have done great job. My category is same as you mention and my priroty date is April 22, 2002. Last month I got approval notice. Atleast they are eliminating backlog. I am hoping they will also eliminate backlog at NVC.

Thanks guys. If they are indeed getting through the backlog, why has the I-130 category brother and sister not moved at all (stuck at 98)?

Also, if you are over 18 and being sponsored by a perm. resident, how much longer does it take to get your GC in your hand once your processing date does come up? It must have to be over seven years, otherwise no one would do this since a perm. resident can become a citizen in five years and then sponsoring a son/daughter would take only two.
 
Anyone has an I-130 pending in Nebraska? They are processing cases (Permanent residents filing for spouces....) with ppriority dates of April 2001 and this has not changed for two to three years. The thing is that immigrant visa numbers are available for those who filed in this category on April 2001 but they are not processing it !!!! What is the deal???

any one has an F2B petition pending at vermont?

hi, my petition was received by vermont service center on 25th october 2002, while that of my elder brother was received on 23rd october 2005, but last week vermont requested for additional evidence in respect of my elder brothers case, can i conclude they are almost getting to my case?

Anyone has a pending I-130 at vermont? F2B category please share your experience thank you
