Hi, my sister who is an US citizen recently sponsored my mother for a green card. My mother lives in Chennai. The online case status says her application was received on October 2002. My sister filed the petition from the CA center. Does anybody on this forum have any ideas about how long it might take for her green card to come through? Can she come here on a visitor visa and stay on since her case is pending?
