I-130 pending, F1 visa, can I change to H-1?

Hi

I have an I-130 application pending at NSC, which was filed in 2002 and am currently in F1 status. Of course, I don't plan to go out of the country but after I finish my studies can I change my status to H1, (That is if I can get a job)? or is there a problem since there is an application filed for immigration on my behalf?

no problem. H1B is a dual intent visa/status (that is, allowing an immigrant intent).
