i-130 or 485?

Hi folks,


I am a naturalized citizen, and trying to do the GC for my parents. Is my understanding that i-130 only is used if parents live outside the U.S; and i-485 only (or with i130 together) is used for parents who currently live in the U.S.

Could somebody kindly outline the procedures of application, and how long it normally take etc...?
