i-130 in process

i'm in the states and have submitted my i-130 for my wife in ethiopia. I have recieved the first notice but now i'm heading overseas to work, how can i finish the process?

Hi holmesivan,
You have the option to go for consular processing by notifying the USCIS so that file is transfer to National Visa Center(NVC) using Form I-824.Also if you have had the green card for more than a year you may opt to preserve your residence for naturalization process using Form N-470 while outside US too.Good luck!
