My husband is US citizen, and we filed I-130 I-485 in November 2004. Detroit CIS received it on November 27, 2004. According to the CIS processing dates they are processing cases for September of 2004. I got my EAD and advanced parole papers some time ago.
My question is: Should I be conserned that I can not been called for fingerprinting yet???? Do they schedule your fingerprinting prior to interview or at the interview?
Also after the interview how long does it usually take before you can travel.
I have not seen my mother for more than 6 years, and can't wait to go see her.
Thank you for your help
Inga

well, November 2004????? I thought today's date was July 14, 2004.

Anyway, call them and ask them if you have missed your biometrics appt letter. FP should be done prior to the interview.
if your passport gets stamped at the interview with "processed for I-551" - that's your evidence of green card, you'll get plastic in the mail later. however, since you have advance parole - - you can travel anyway, but if you have been in the U.S. illegally for any period exceeding 180 days, do not travel until you get your GC.
