I am a USC that concurrently filed my wife's I-130, I-485 etc and mailed it to the chicago lockbox. The I-130 receipt notice number starts with MSC while I live in texas , so I thought it would be from TSC.
Anyone that can throw some light in to this?
Thanks.

LucyMO,
After looking at your time line I would like to know if your I-130 sponsor had a GC or was USC? This will help me in getting an idea of time to process my wife's case
Thanks.

USC, of course. IF he were an LPR, then I'd have to wait for the visa number to become available to me for about 5 years and only then file AOS.

Wow. That is not a good sign 'cos it looks it took almost 1 yr 3 mos to get GC from the date you applied. Is it bec you are in a different Service Center. I thought applications under the TSC territory were taking 8-9 months.
Thanks.

it has nothing to do with the Service Center. The AOS applications are preprocessed in Missouri, but they are still adjudicated at the local district office. Considering the regular wait of 2-2.5 years in Atlanta, 14 months was not a long wait at all.

My I-130 was adjudicated in CSC in 1 month.
