My father petitioned for me and he is a permanent resident and lives in New Mexico. He petitioned for me in 2004 and it was approved. I live in mexico currently i'm 28 years old, single, no kids, and i have a handicapped. I was wondering is there any ways i could join my family in the US, using some special/humantiarian cases cause of my handicapped? How much longer do I have to wait to get my interview/appointment with the consulate for my green card? How many more years? what questions or documentations will the consulate ask about me or my father at the day of the interview/appointment?

F2B from Mexico is taking a VERY long time. You need to know the "Priority Date" the filing date of the I-130 that your dad filed for you. Check the Visa Bulletin on the State Department website (you can subscribe to the monthly update of the VB via e-mail). If dad naturalizes you could move ton a different category but it is still a long wait.

Good Luck!

If you were born in Mexico, you can expect a wait of 18 or 19 years. He filed for you about 7 years ago, so you will have about 11 or 12 more years of waiting.

Make sure you don't get married before your father becomes a US citizen; you getting married before he obtains citizenship would cancel the petition he filed for you.
