I\'m sorry to hear that you were lied to by immigration. I know it can certainly feel that way. It\'s not faster, but if it\'s any easier, it\'s not necessarily slower either. I will attempt to answer your questions if I can according to what I have learned in this whole process.
First of all, you need to file an I-130 with the paper work that proves that you were married, your birth certificate, pictures (1 of you and 1 of your husband)specific from the instructions and of course the G-325 biographic info forms: (4copies for you and 4 copies for your husband) It does need to be his signature and the signature on each need to be the original signature (in other words, you cannot fill out one page, sign it and then make copies) I know it is horrible to be separated from our loved ones. I am experiencing that now. I don\'t know when I will get to see my husband, but I have decided I want to do everything exactly the way they are asking because I don\'t want to delay this process in any way.
