Hi,

Could someone please help me with the following questions (or direct me to a link if the questions have been answered elsewhere on this forum).

Me: A CDN citizen, married over 21, with an I-130 pending at the CA service centre (filed by USC mother - PD Jan 1, 2004).

Questions:

1. CA service centre PD is April 2001, May visa bulletin states April 2000 apps are being processed in this category. Which is correct?

2. When my PD does roll around, does it make a difference whether I'm living in Canada or in the US under a temporary non-immigrant visa (TN/H1B). Any suggestions? Advisable to just stay put in Canada (to keep it simple)?

3. When PD does roll around, can someone give me a quick recap of the process to getting to the GC?

thank you.

visa bulletin from DOS is for AOS/CP. Nothing to do with I-130 processing
2. When my PD does roll around, does it make a difference whether I'm living in Canada or in the US under a temporary non-immigrant visa (TN/H1B). Any suggestions? Advisable to just stay put in Canada (to keep it simple)?
It's different process. Doesn't make much difference on end result probably.
3. When PD does roll around, can someone give me a quick recap of the process to getting to the GC?
Depends on CP or AOS. You can search those keyword on google or this board and you'll find a lot of infos.
thank you.
