i-130 filed sept 14 2001 for parents

I am a u.s citizen filed i-130 for my parents on sept.14 2001. at texas svc center . reciept of notice saying 175-225 days to process. now their case status system says it takes 990-999 days. )at texas service center ,they taking their sweet time for past 2 years .if anybody could help me?how long I have to wait? do I need to file any other forms?what I can do ?I have send letter to i.n.s , contacted congress man, now what else? if any one know what to do please let me know

I130 with priority date blank

I am in your same boat. I am USC and recently sponsored my brother by filing I-130 with Texas Service Center. It says 990-999 days. The receipt I got shows "received date", and "notice date". However the "priority date" is empty.

Could you please tell me if your priority date is empty? Is this normal? If so, what is my priority date?

Doesn't it take 10-15 years for your siblings thro' Family sponsored 4th category . I believe currently thay are processing 1990 applications.

true. my brother does not want to live here anyway. i just want to give my niece (2yr) one more oppurtunity. it takes 12 years after priority date. however, now there is no priority date on my form. i just need a priority date and lock the form in the drawer for the next decade.
