I-130 fee paid by beneficiary OK?

Hi,

My wife (petitioner) has run out of personal checks. It'll take a few days before she receives a new batch (ordering today).

Can I, the beneficiary, pay the I-130 fee ($355) with my personal check? We ran out of checks in our joint account. I have a separate account too at a different bank, which I would use as the source of funds.

So it OK if I-130 fee check is written/paid by beneficiary? Or should we just wait a week or so for her new checkbook to arrive?

Or she can always run to the bank and get a few temporary checks. It takes 5 minutes to get it. I just did it a couple of days ago
