I-130 (f-4) Help!!!

hi guys, my uncle has applied for my mother and he used the form 1-130 and the category my mother falls into is the F-4 category for brothers and sisters, so far the case was approved, and we just have 2 wait for visa numbers 2 be available. there is this problem. my mother is indian born and indian citizen, but the case was filed from kenya, so which dates should we follow?? also is there any way this process can be made quicker, because my dad was murdered in kenya, thts y we had 2 move here in the us, wigth my uncle. thankx.

You should follow the dates for india if your mother holds an indian passport.

To clarify something you and your mother must mantain their own legal status in the US while waiting for a visa number. The waiting for siblings is very very long, go up to 12 years.

yeah, we waited for the case to be approved, and it took just a bit over 6 years, now india is behind for the f-4 visa numbers, so i try to do calculations in microsoft excel, and it seems like at the current rate it will take us about 5more years from now, so just looking for anything to quicken up the process. also u can be illegal while wating for a visa number, because once a visa number is available, than you can get an attorney and they will switch the case, so yyou get the visa while u r in the states, and u dont get a ban and anything, trust me, ppl have done this before, and nothing went wrong.

lol all i can say is thnkx ari4u, lol, i cant say anything else, but one thing, when ur life depends on it, u try 2 do alot of things and u try to find ways to do things, and know more about things, im reffering to this visa thingy. makes lives miserable. actually theres nothing worth in united states, ppl just wanna come here because its safe, and u get GREEN, lots n lots of GREEN, and its gud. otherwise usa sucks ass.

Then leave! Life will be a lot easier for ya! The immigration process is not easy and it's only for those who really want it. I love this country, I came here bc of that and I came to stay. I also want to make a difference here for others who love this place as much as I do. I-130 for Married Sons/Daughters

Question for anyone/everyone,

My dad applied for married sons/daughters in April 2002. Recently I got an email and also a receipt of cases being transferred from Nebraska service center to California service center. We live in Illinois and I have no idea why the case would be transferred to CSC. Any comments/suggestions/advice would be helpful. Also, how long does it normally take for such cases to be approved.. Is the transfer good thing or bad thing? By the way, it is I-130 Category 3rd.

I don't know If there is already a thread for this, please advice.

I am not 100% positive, but I think I remember reading that sometimes they transfer from one service center to another bc of backlog.

All of us we have problems, and at certain point in time we may say: "life sucks".
Myself for example, I had to wait 8.5 for my Green Card, and another 7+ for my citizenship, a total of 15+ years
USCIS sucks, and I was so angry agaist this institution, but I never said, or thought, something bad about the US, and I'll never will.

The problem is not that you waited for so long and life sucks when you try to bypass the laws of the country who accepted you, the problem is that you said, let me refresh your memory:

We, as immigrants, who came here on our free will and who are accepted here should have that shreed of decency not to bite the hand who feeds us.

US "sucks" because accepts and welcomes all the morons from all over the world?

Canada, woldn't accept you because (I'm sure about that!) you don't have the score to qualify.
