I received an email today from USCIS informing me that my wife's I-130 was approved and that an approval letter was sent to me (petitioner) on March 2009. of course I never received the notice and I am surprised that they waited until today to notify me. Anyway, that's not the issue.
My wife's case priority date is Jan 26 2006. Will NVC wait until the priority date is current before processing the case or should I expect them to contact me soon?
Is there a way to call NVC and update information in my wife's file (such as her phone number). It's been a while since I filed the I-130 with USCIS and a lot of info has changed.
