Hi all,
I filed I-130 for my wife in May 2011 which was approved in Sep 2011. Since then we have been waiting for PD to be current - Category F2A. At the time of application (and approval) i was a Permanent Resident.
Since then, I have become a US Citizen now and i have been told that i dont need to wait for priority date to become current anymore. I can just 'upgrade' my already approved I-130 and file for my wife's I-485. for a spouse of USC - green cards are available immediately without any wait.
my question is that how do I upgrade the I 130 that i filed when i was a permanent resident. is there a specific form for this that i have to fill. i couldnt find any.
Or do I just send I 485 and attach a copy of my naturalization certificate, copy of I 130 approval.
help appreciated.
