I-130 application

Hi Guys,
I am a US citizen and planning to apply Green Card for my wife. In USCIS website it says I need to send I-130 and G-325a to nebraska ( I live in Minnesota). It is not very clear what happens after that (Do I need to send i-485 too?). My wife is not in USA.

Is there any thread that tells step by step process?

I would really appreciate any help.
 
hi there am new to this forum, i had a interview for i130on feb 27th 2007 baltimore do,
there has been no response since then ,made info pass 4 times the officer says that its pending...i applied thru my us spouce....any inputs or help will be appricieated
