Hi ,
Can any one provide a bit of guidance here for my case as I am keen to know more if any one else has also faced the same experience.
I have a BE in chemical Engg with 8 yrs of IT experience but on the I-129 W my employers attorney has mentioned that I have a Bachelors degree and the major / field of study is Computers. Is that what most of us have to put on the I-129 or should we mention that we have a Bachelors Degree in Chemical as this would lead to an additional burden to prove that how are we qualified for a S/W job ?
Would this qualify for the infamous 221(g) at Chennai where the hardnosed visa officers are closely examining issues related to Non-IT Degree's ?
Has anyone with a non-IT degree put the same details (computers as a major/ field of study) and had a successfull H1-B stamping?
