Hi,
Got the I 129 approval letter today, NOA2. Went to www.visajourney.com to read about the next steps.

Do I need to send the fiancee the I-864 or I-134? Do they have to be notarized?

I guess we have roughly one month to gather all the stuff we will need before she gets called in for her interview- the originals of the I-129 package, the affidavit of support, letter affirming the support for K1, documents of having met, etc.

I am self employed, independent contractor, so I don't get weekly pay stubs. I get a W-2 at the end of the year. I did send her the copies of my tax returns for the last 3 years. Do they have to be notarized?

The total business income is fine but the adjusted gross income is low due to deductions, contributions to solo 401k etc. But there are enough assets in the bank to supplement the income requirements. Should be ok, right? I hope they can accept copies of bank statements or do they have to be notarized as well. Thanks guys.

Its the I-134.
I-134 is needed for a K1 at the consulate stage.
I-864 is what you'll need when your fiance (after marriage) undergoes AOS in the US.

I dont know the answer to your other questions as my fiance was on a fixed salary so I dont know how it goes for those who are self employed. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along to help you out with that.

Yes, assets can make up for a deficit in income. Remember to divide the value of your assets by 5 when making up the difference.

Thanks guys for the replies. Couldn't understand the part about dividing the assets by 5 to make up the difference.
