I couldn't believe when I got an e-mail from USCIS today stating that my I-140 has been approved on May 6, 2004 and in order to just verify, when I checked my case online, I was just thrilled to know that my I-140, EB3 (ND 9/15/2003) has been approved yesterday. My USCIS portfolio's "Last Updated" column has been updated as 05/07/2004. I am hoping that my attorney will get approval notice in mail within 7-10 days.
I just wanted to let you guys know that I had filled concurrently (in same mail package my attorney had send my 140,485, EAD, AP, Medical report- 693). My FP is not done yet as I never got any letter from them. I am wondering now whether VSC folks are really following the Ohata memo because as per her they were supposed to adjudicate 140 & 485 together. Another surprising thing is that as per newly updated VSC processing date, they are currently processing applications from August 22, 2003 where as my notification date is September 15, 2003. It's good for me that they made a surprising and quick decesion in my case but my point is that we shouldn't just trust the processing dates what they mention on their web site.
I am so ready to recieve my FP notice and eventually 485 approval :^). Wish me good luck guys.
