Hunger Strike For Green Card!!

GOD_BLESS_YOU

NO.

Not only it backfires but it makes out a laughing stuff.

In a broad perspective, there is no evident misjustice done to majority of immigrant petitioners. By book, everything is treated under control. The reason of delayed GC should not make loose composition and it is not worth it.

Only solution to this is general businees attention. If major employers can make it to lawmakers, there is chance of getting relief. We are here on the need of US employers and before applying GC, we are supposed to know all risks and delays associated with it. But what we are seeing now is more than a justifiable delay and I do not see any employer protests.

Unlike India, in this country, there is order to follow and protests will not be taken easy.

yes, that's the point if it is done more massive way it will have more impact !!

protests by petitioners won't make a big impact.

The protest by thousands of mexicans and the day without mexicans both invoked strong views on both sides. So I am not sure if a hunger strike would yield results. May be a peaceful hunger strike on a weekend with prior police consent would draw some attention. We have to be law abiding 100% of the time or else we will harm to our cause.

Negative.

My strong opinion is that even a peaceful hunger strike on a weekend also may not yield good impressions barring any results.

i think noone can say for sure if it had any effect or not. Senate had it's bill agreed on already and what's happening with representatives even after all those protests is not what would be definetely conssidered as actions supporting those protests
