How to withdrawing H1B petition after the greencard is received

I just got my greencard. My employer already applied for H1B several months ago. How can they withdraw/cancel the H1B petition?

Is this petition a new one that is subject to the 65000 quota (or the 20000 Masters degree quota)? If yes, withdrawing it would do somebody else a favor so they could use that visa. If not, there is no use in withdrawing it, and failure to withdraw it will not jeopardize your green card.
