How to use AP?

I got my AP and was planing to travel out of country.

I have 3 pages from INS for AP:

page 1 bears my phototgraph and validity date.

page 2 has same information minus phototgraph.

page 3 says presentation of this notice will permit you to resume your application for AOS on return to USA.

Can some one please clarify:
 
1.how to use these documents and significance of each page?

2.Do I have to handover some paper to airport/airline authorities or just show it to them?

3.DOes the processing of AOS stops and I have to specifically ask them to restart it per page 3?

Please post your experiences.

Usage of the AP

The page with photo is the one you need from beginning. Once you run out of space for stamping at the check point, then you need take the sencod page.

You may need to handover you I-94 depends on the length of your trip. (Also depend on which country you are heading to)

No.

Additional informatio: Though it is not official, you\'d better bring all necessary document, such as, I-485 receipt etc to prove your status upon re-entry US as the border security getting tight.
