How to sponser in-laws on Visitor visa

I'm from India (H1) and want to sponser my in-laws to come to US on visitor visa. They have got a visa appointment in US consulate MUMBAI in March. Please inform me the procedure for this and what documents I need to send for their interview.


My H1 visa expires in May 2007. My company will apply for H-1 extension in either Feb or March. Considering this, Can I still sponser visitor tourisr visa for my in-laws while my H1 extension is pending? Do I have to get my extension approved? Please advice
 
Your pending H-1B extension will surely not be as important as your in-laws' ties to India. That will be the make or break for them. Good luck to them!!!
