How to solve attorney problem

Can I understand what category I was filed in by my attorney? By looking receipt numbers.

My company attorney never replies mails and answer any query.

Some time I feel I can get answer from USCIS one time, but from my attorney it’s impossible.

If any body knows solution to over come of this attorney problem.Pl let us know.

Please post your qualification and experiance at the time the labor
was applied(and the advertisement for Labor).We can conclude from that.

how can I change attonry

How can I change my attorny at this stage. What formalities I need to complete. What I should ensure moving on this road.I means Do's and Don't?

-- you cannot change attorny for I-140 it is filed by employer, employer can change the lawyer , they can hire new lawyer and fill up new G28 with new lawyer and YOU can change lawyer anytime for your I-485, fill up G28 with new lawyer. Before YOU hire new Lawyer ask him to get your file from past lawyer
What I should ensure moving on this road.I means Do's and Don't?

Dear Ginnu,

Because my attorney just leaves her old law firm, Is it good to switch to new law firm with my old attorney, or stay in the old law firm to change to another lawyer.


Please give me some advice on pros and Cons on this changing lawyer issue.

Lawyers seldom reply. Get a receipt #,case# for everything filed. Most of Attorney's never reply. Try contacting the legal assitants of the attorney and log into forums to get info. Changing attorney's doesn't make a difference.
