How to renew EAD, I-485 Pending since 2003

It is time to renew my EAD - 4th time
(Family-based adjustment applicant --(c)(9))

Should I include:

- A copy of Form I-94 Departure Record (front and back) ?
- Two passport-style color photos with a white background ?

to renew my EAD

You have renewed it thrice, shouldn't you be knowing what is needed by now?

As I recall, that's what I included with mine.

And the fee of course :)

I included in a package:

1. I-485 (pending) copy
2. I-365 (approved) copy
3. Form I-94 Departure Record (front and back) copy
4. Two passport-style color photos
5. Copy of the front and back of my last EAD
6. $180 check

+ Extras:
7. Copy of SS

You never know what to expect from those freaks. More is always better, then less......

I have a question for you since you have done this thrice..

How many days before EAD expires can you apply for renewal. Is there a minimum and maximum day limit?

Please answer in detail

From my last year experience you should do it in 90 days before you EAD expiration day.
Last year, when I sent an application only 60 days left. I received it 28 days after EAD expired but there was no gap between “expiration” day and new “card valid from” date

i am posting this for some one who search for what is latest info to how to aply for EAd.EAd aplication has changed a lot here islates info as i applied it.
-lot of local offices if true all of them will not take your EAd applciation I-765 from oct 1 ,2006. You have two option first apply at chigago mail box addres your local ins will tell u or got to www.uscis.gov select your office look under emplyment authorization filing procedure it will be there.
second option you have is E-file ,most people can e file some can not so check too, fyi I e filed under I-485 pending case i.e answer to que 16 on application is C09.

very imp lot of epoepl have confusion I had it too as some people had posted here you need to call 800 number after you E file to make FP appt. its false or may be changed now ,All E filed application goes to national benefit center so you wait they wil lmail your bio metric appoinment for finger print and photograph.

Third you dont need to send supporting docs with E file, but since due ti this change in rules I applied to renew EAd late so very concerned Im ailed them any how my previous EAd and copy of I-485 pending receipt, they mailed Fp in 10 days from date of E file.

E File is easy and convininet, there are few feild one can have question I had it to , sharing wioth you, i left country on advance parole so selected method os last entry as :DA Advance parole (Dist Auth).
when I enter US I entered on student visa so put student visa in current visa status as there was no option of selecting I-485 pending.
Hope all this info helps some one who is aplpying or renew EAd after Oct,2006.

e-file ead renew, which BCIS office?

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding which office to select while completing my e-file for first EAD renew.

I entered US on H1B (started working in BOSTON MA)
Married to USC, filed I-485, I765, I131 etc. (Sent to Chicago lockbox)
Interview at Boston – and approved.
I went to India for vacation and entered back in US on Advance Parole.
Now its time to renew my EAD.

I tried e-file for I-765 but I some query for following questions from online form.

Q> "Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from BCIS? If yes, which BCIS office?"

Initially I have sent all my papers to Chicago Lockbox but when I see my approved I-765 bottom part it says

U.S.Citizenship and Immigration services
P.O.Box 648005
Lee’s Summit MO 64064

Not sure which office should I select for above question as there is no option for Lee Summit MISSOURI in the drop down selection box. At which location my I-485 is pending? I mean which USCIS office? ( my guess is USCIS NEBRASKA Service center)

Q2> "What will be current immigration status?"
There is no option for Adjustment of status I-485 pending and i dont want to use H1b anymore.
