How to postpone oath?

Hi, I cannot make my oath date due to travel. What is the best way to postpone it? Should I call USCIS customer service or the local office? Or should I send them snail mail? Thanks!

You can return the N-445 to the local office by mail, with an explanation. Keep a copy, send it certified with return receipt requested.

Please make sure to attach a letter citing the reasons for not taking the oath on the mentioned date and also requesting the USCIS to reschedule another suitable date.
