Hello all,
I am from Eritrea with case number ‎2009AF00019***. I heard u can tell or estimate ur interview date, high numbers n low numbers n the like. how do i know when my possible interview iz gonna be n also, do i ve the chance?

And, of course, You dont have to wait for second letter. If you see in bulletin your CN is current, you can send email to KCC (email in first letter), with CN, name and date of birth of petitioner, and they will inform you about date of interview and if your documents have been sent to you.

Thanks for your update. I visited the bulletin page n found out this:

For Nov. Africa 12,500
For Dec. Africa 15,100

Are the numbers the 5 last digits of my case number?
 
just one final question: r those numbers constant? i mean, the gag btn nov n dec is around 3000. will it be like dat for the next months?

Thanks buddy! Help me out here cos i heard a lot abt this High n low numbers. From wat u said, i dont thk there is a standard for high or low case numbers, but do u think a 19*** have a chance? i heard that i can expect it in Feburary or so, but i felt that 50K visas wld be given already to numbers below that. Wat do u thk?
 
Look at the visa bulletins from the previous fiscal years (starting in October, ending in September) and see in which month your number would have been current. This can give you an idea (if it says "current" that means that everyone with a case number in this region is supposed to have an interview).
