I have few questions. Can someone please answer? Thanks.
1) When we send N-400, first do we need to post it to one of the four centers Nebraska, California, Texas or Vermont service centers, depending on where we live?
2) Who will send receipt letter. Main office or district office?
3) Then they will send the package to one of the local district offices, depending on the current residence address? Is the local district office is where we give finger prints and go through interview? Does this office schedule interview? Is it same place where we take oath also?
5) Is it possible to find the corresponding district office, using zip code?
6) Also, if I want my application sent to Mount Laurel (NJ), but not Newark (NJ), how do I know where do I have to live in New Jersey?
7) Are specific zip codes or counties allotted to specific district office?
This especially a concern if two nearby district offices have difference in processing times, isn't it good idea to move to a place which falls under jurisdiction of district office which has quick processing time?
8) Is it advisable to move to a place, based on which district office has fast processing time.
9) Some district offices are taking average 14 months (Hartford) and some are 8 months (Albany)?
10) Is there a chance that processing time will improve next year?
Thanks.
