How to interpret EAC # ?

Hi all,

      Does any one know how to interpret the EAC # ?
      i.e. How does INS assigns first two and middle three digits ?

It\'s basically EAC-00-125-5xxxx where \'00\' is the year (2000, or 99 for 1999), \'125\' is the julian day of the year, ie the 125th day of the year, the application was received, the \'5\' indicates that its EB category (employment based application) and the last four digits are the sequence number of the application.
