How to handle delay?

When 330 days pass from Notice Date for 485 processing at NSC and
there is no RFE or approval, what is the right course of action?

Do we call up Nebraska and ask whether the case has been assigned or not?

Do we just wait and hoep the God that something happens?

Please comment.
Thx

I\'ll not contact the congressman just now...

In my view 330 days message of AVM is not correct. NSC processes cases for a window of 4-6 months so I would not contact the congressman just yet. I\'ll probably call IIO and find out the status and if the case is 2-3 months overdue may be then I\'ll contact the congressman or senator.

If your RD/ND are before May 2001 then...

& if you have not received any RFE so far then there is might be a chance that your I485 has been sent to make a connection with your I140.

Call IIO & ask him the reson for delay or have your lawyer call IIO.

contacting congressman is not a good idea

Are you done with FP.
If not done talk to IIO. If FP done, wait for another 30-45 days and contact IIO. I strongly oppose to contact congressman for every thing. Let them get some more time to process. No one sticks to clock.

Details of my case are as follows

I140 from TSC

I485 at NSC
RD: 04/20/01
ND: 05/10/01
FP: 02/22/02
LIN-01-172-XXXXX
EB2 RIR
Detroit
NO RFE so far, No approval. Talked to IIO on 03/05/02 to update address and was told they are processing jan 2001 cases (which was
not true)

Hey Achiever, I talked to the IIO regarding my wife\'s 485 and that\'s what IIO

said that her 485 has been sent for getting joined to my I140. What does that mean and how long will it take for my wife to get approval after that? Her 485 RD is 11/00 and ND is 12/00. My case has been approved a long time back.
