How to get police clearence from India

HI FRIENDS ,
I've done my graduation from pune .India and now I'm back in my country (Bangladesh). Now I need to get a Pcc from India as I was there for more than 6 months.Is there anyone who can tell how I can get it staying in Bangladesh?

Another thing is , someone told me that pcc usually valid for only 6months and My case no:2010AS2xx so i'll expect an early interview(probably October' 09 ), in that case when is the best time to apply for it?

Any information will be highly appreciated. Thanks & all the best for DV winners.

Why don't you contact the Indian Embassy in Dhaka and ask them how you can get Police Certificate from India? Please keep us posted about this and your progress towards getting Indian Police Certificate.

Hi friends, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE website saying :
“Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) applicants applying outside India.”

Does that mean that I don’t need a police certificate from India??

Hi dude thanks a lot for help. I'v done enough research about this and finally send a mail to Kcc. waiting for their answer. I'll obviously share the answer with u people.
