I have a question. My boyfriend is USC and we r planning to get married. But my visa expired 1 year ago and i don't have any legal ID. All i have is my passport, SS#, birth certificate. Is there any way we can get married legaly?

Different states have different rules concerning marriage licenses.

That should give u a general idea...however, marriage laws do change thus, it's best to contact ur local marriage license office or county clerk. Also remember that u don't necessarily have to get married in ur state.

In a nutshell, getting married is relatively easy..maintaining it is the difficult part...I'm sure u'll be fine...good luck.

The passport should be fine in most states, but do check with your local county office.
