Hi,
i am going to india and i am attending my H1 b stamping in chennai india for the first time.I got MS degree in USA. what all documenst shud i take so that i can get my wife H4 visa?? please help me.
what is H4 approval???
where can i get it???

---- Your H1 approval notice, employer letter recent pay stubs, certified copy of I-129 and LCA (lawyer who filed your H1 has to copy of these documents or ask your company HR) marriage certificate visa application form+ fees, photographs, your degree certificates, your wife has to visit consulate
what is H4 approval???
------ If it is first time H4 of your wife you don’t need any H4 approval notice for her from USCIS, she needs H4 visa from US consulate based on your H1 status
where can i get it???
----- When she reaches US on H4 visa stamp and before her I-94 expiry you file H4 extension with USCIS in US then you will get H4 approval notice. You don’t need it now and can’t get it, as she is not in US and she does not need it

# wedding photographs
# photocopy of copy of the applicant's spouse(H1 holder)
# original of H-1B petition
# letter confirming the employment of applicant's spouse
# copy of H-1Bpetition submitted by employer
# LABOR CONDITION APPLICATION(LCA) for the current site
# bank statements and 6 recent pay stubs
# affidavit of support(notarised)submitted by the applicant's spouse
# photos of the petitioners office
# DS-156 non immigrant visa application form
# applicant's passport
# photograph
# demand draft towards non refundable NIV application fee
# demand draft towards Visa issuance fee
# copies of tax filings filed by the applicants stay for the entire duration of his stay in USA

can u tell me what is affidavit of support and what letter my company shud give so that i can get her H4 visa

--------Affidavit of support is NOT asked for H4 visa stamp. Employer letter should state your name; job title, salary and that you are working with then on H1b status. Letter should be on company letterhead
 
Things might have changed, but I got my pre-9/11 H4 with the following documents:
-original H1B approval notice
-copy from spouse's visa and passport
-letter of employment from spouse's company
-marriage certificate
-processing fee
-application
-my passport
-my photos.

Wedding pictures are not documents they require. They are part of your reasoning to convince the visa officer that the marriage is bona fide. They also asked for proof of correspondence between me and my spouse. (had to come back the next day with them).
I don't see any reason for submitting the LCA copy. Since H4 is a non-immigrant visa (even if it's double intent), submitting labor could stay in the way, not help, I think. But that's just my opinion.

---- He is also going to get his H1b visa stamped and certified LCA+I-129 is needed, read the first post and try to understand what he posed and then reply

how do i get LCA attorney certified??? please help me, and what is H1 approval notice, the document which INS sends saying you are approved and has a I-94 attached to it... plese let me know
 
There are buch of things Lawyer needs to send over to INS before you get the approval notice from INS and LCA is one of them, ask him for a consular package and he will be able to send it to you

i do have the whole file the lawyer has sent INS to get my H1, what i want to know is how can i get that attorney certified, what should i do???

----- Go to the same attorney who filed your H1, lawyer will certify all the papers with his/ her stamp. Lawyer knows how to certify
