My last employer filed an EB GC for me in 2004. It is still pending. I have copies of I-140 and I-485 filing as well as the I-40 approval notices.
I switched employers a while ago and my last employer is refusing to send the ORIGINAL I-485 receipt notice.
I did get a new AP and EAD but my new attorney insists that I need the ORIGINAL I-485 filing receipt with the AP at port of entry.
Can someone please tell how to get a USCIS Duplicate I-485 filing receipt?
Form I-824 is not likely to help since that is for duplicates of APPROVAL notices and doesn't address Filing Receipts.
Please advise.
