How to find whether a employer is genuine or fraud thru telephonic conversation

Hi,

Ay present i am working for X employer and i found Y employer from chicago area who is ready to file my GC. Now as a first step they asked me to send the cheque for the H1-B processing and documents.

But i am worried, whether they are genuine or ....?

I have their address and Federal Tax Identification Number with me .

So just wondering how to find whether the employer is genuine using their address and FED tex id number.

Is ther any site or something ?

In my opinion you should NOT send any money to your
prospective employer until you know about them/meet them.
