how to find the approved H1b is not cancelled by the employer after the employment is terminated

Hi,
  I worked for Company A for 10 months on H1b. After 10 months, the company terminated my employement. It\'s now 4 months since the company terminated my employment. So I went back to india and started working for another company. And just a week ago, i found a job in US in Company B and the company B wants me ASAP. Company B is also ready to file for my new H1b. How do i know if my old H1b is not cancelled by Company A?
How to find out if the old H1 is still valid?

Try to enter US with old H1!!

And immediately you will know whether that h1 is valid or not!! There is no way for the candidate to find out whether a h1 is valid or not. Please post once and wait for somebody to answer. If nobody answers after a few hours , you can repost. This is not a chat forum.

Few suggestions:
1. Your I-797 with company A is irrelevant since you are not working for that company and nor do you intent to return to that company.
2. Comapny B how is willing to hire you has to file new H-1B petition.
3. If you have a H-1B visa (not status) stamped on your passport which is not yet expired, then you can return with old H-1B visa plus new I-797.
Always consult a lawyer, most of the time it is money well spent.
 
Why not

Why not file for a new H-1 with the new employer and use Premium Processing? It may be money well spent if the company really needs you now.
